This was my last week in Flo. So so sad. The worst part about it was that I had to spend my last week studying and taking finals. On Monday, Sari and I went to the Synagogue in Florence since we never made it over there. It was so gorgeous inside! We weren’t allowed to take any phones or cameras into the Synagogue so I couldn’t take a photo. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, I had class and spent hours studying for the exams. On Tuesday night, Sari, Lane, Katie, and I went to dinner at Il Profeta, an amazing restaurant and on Wednesday night, we went to 13 Gobbi. On Thursday, Katie, Sari, and I ran around Florence doing some last minute errands and then on Thursday night, we had a farewell dinner with our program, Wells College, at a restaurant called Sabatini. Since it’s Lane’s birthday in a couple days, but we won’t be in Florence anymore, we celebrated her birthday on Thursday night. It was fun! We all went out together, and we obviously went to Kikuya, our favorite go-to!
Today was our last day, so Lane, Sari, Katie and I spent the day walking around, getting our favorite foods, and taking pics of Florence. We went up to Piazza Michelangelo one last time, walked by the duomo one last time, and walked through Piazza Signoria one last time. We went home, packed and cleaned, and then went to La Giostra for the “last supper.” After dinner, I had to say bye to Sari, Katie, and Merel, and Lane and I came back to our apartment to hang out with our other two roommates Amanda and Rachel.
